What is “THE community” THAT MEETS IN A HOme?

The scriptures refer to “the community of believers” as the body of messiah. The members of his body, with no other head, no other mediator except yeshua….

believers throughout scripture gathered in homes to pray together, encourage one another, seek & worship in spirit & truth….building one another up in the Word in order to GO OUT and REFLECT THE LIGHT OF YESHUA!

AS WE GATHER TOGETHER IN OUR HOME, WE RECEIVE YHWH’s WORD (Which is Yeshua - the Word became flesh - John 1), WHICH SAYS THAT WE ARE NOW THE TEMPLE OF THE RUACH (HOLY SPIRIT), WE ARE “THE DWELLING PLACE”…TOGETHER WE ARE THE BODY, YESHUA IS THE HEAD - THIS IS His Way…His Community of believers…His Body!

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to BE THE BODY of Messiah, through caring for one another and doing life together through genuine love, support, and fellowship based on the foundation of truth. We are united together by the blood of Yeshua, as one in Spirit, each with unique gifts which work together for the good of the whole. We extend love to each other and anyone who enters the door each week so that we grow in the truth of our identity in Yeshua alone. The power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) leading every part of our lives, not just once a week, but in every moment, every day, in every circumstance.

Our purpose is not about US, it’s about HIM. We aren’t counting hands raised or whether each person meets our set of rules, checklists or standards to be “a member”. Salvation (becoming a member of YHWH’s family) cannot be earned, it is inherited when we truly believe in Yeshua Hamashiach as our Savior, when we are penetrated by His grace and filled with the power of the Ruach. We believe His Word (The Scriptures), His Promises and His Plan as the only way to be in a full relationship with our Creator and to come into the very presence of a Holy God, whose name is YHWH.

““Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for YHWH can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.””

what happens AS WE GATHER AS the body?

  • We know each other deeply

  • We study the Scriptures and allow the Word to explain the Word

  • We worship in spirit and in truth

  • We share a meal together

  • We serve each other

  • We serve in our communities

  • We support the needs of each person

  • We revere the true Name of God (YHWH)

  • We call on the true name of the Savior (Yeshua or Yahusha)

  • We recognize and freely celebrate the 7 Feasts of YHWH

  • We reflect his light into the darkness

  • We get messy when someone is struggling

  • We disciple one another

  • We seek truth & revelation with unveiled faces only through one mediator, Yeshua

  • We encourage one another

  • We raise up our children in YHWH, generation to generation

  • WE ARE A SPIRITUAL FAMILY

  • We come IN together in order to GO out as YHWH’s “mobile home” (His temple)
